4) How long have you been riding fixed gear?
Since 1993

5) What got you started riding fixed gear?
As a rookie messenger i saw a guy named "track bike steve" zipping through traffic...his ride was so smooth and clean...i caught up with him one day and he showed me my first fixed street rod..i was smitten from then on...i saved up some cash and bought everything i needed from him..it was a sick...i felt like i was flying...really flying for the first time..note..this was when i became one of 4 or five messengers in DC who rode fixed...we all know what happend next..big love...

6) What kind of riding do you do- (FGFS, Polo, messenger, etc)?
My butcher is used for slaying opponents on the polo court

7) Best memory on your bike?
Everyday is the best memory..everyday

8) Worst crash on your bike?
About three years ago i dropped the front wheel of my track bike into grate..not even going that fast luckily..fractured my face and c6 vertebrae in my neck..superficial damage big scar on the forehead around my eye and busted teeth..oh well still going..

9) What do you do when you are not riding?
Working at the bike shop...pedecabbing...thinking about playing polo..taking pictures..and drinking beer

10) Any accolades (Have you won any tournaments/contests, been in a movie/edits?
1997 best all around rider in the mid atlantic...1999 alleycat world champ budapest hungary...2000 9th place messenger worlds in philly...2nd place 2010 ballwackers halloween ball SF...3rd place 2011 northside regional qualifier toronto canada..

11) Favorite food and drink?
Anything the "ringer" makes at the polo haus...good beer..good coffee..

12) Personal notes- anything you want the world to know about you?
Bike polo is the spice of life..its the most fun you can have on a bike..you will laugh so hard that you cant even play sometimes...it is this that keeps me coming back..again and again...give it a try...dont be scared..we all had to start somewhere..

13) Any special thanks to anyone out there?
I would like to thank Joe Nocella and Kris Blakemore from 718 cyclery..my team the"portland united" for believing in me and what i had to go through to become a more well rounded player...i love you guys and will continue to slaying all those in our path..and last but not least you guys at eigthinch..thanks for the bike and all the equipment..it came along just at the right time...crucial..
